Accessibility Information

The location and spaciousness of our event make visiting convenient in many ways. We have long been committed to accessibility and collaborate with the Disability Advisory Council of the City of Munich in this regard.

Parking Spaces

Disabled parking spots are located directly in front of the "gates" of the Medieval Market, at Brienner Strasse No. 6 - 10.

Accessibility

The entrances to the entrance area, the market circuit, and the ascent to the wooden platform are wheelchair accessible. Disabled toilets are located in the sanitary area. All escape routes are either at ground level or equipped with ramps with a slope of 6%.

There is no need to climb stairs at our Christmas market. Ramps with a maximum slope of 6% are available.

Ramps

The ramps provided along the course of the tour comply with the DIN 18040 Part 1 standard in terms of their size, incline, and other structural deviations, and can therefore be considered as wheelchair accessible. They serve as a convenience and are suitable for wheelchair users. Use is at one's own risk.

Tables

Several wheelchair-accessible tables are available on the market grounds, and their height is adjusted for wheelchair users.

Food and Beverage Service Points

The majority of our market vendors have service points adjusted to wheelchair height.

Accessible Restrooms

In close proximity to the market grounds (approximately 30 meters away), there are wheelchair-accessible toilets that can be accessed from both sides. These restrooms are heated and available daily during market hours, from 11 am to 9 pm. The crepe stand next to our restroom facility will be happy to provide information about their exact location.
